This research group deals with the fundamental theories and computational methodologies that are used in modeling and simulation of materials on the macroscopic and mesoscopic levels. Current applications include multiscale materials modeling in polycrystalline materials, modeling and simulation of metal forming processes and FE modeling of mechatronics systems.
