GUC is proudly announcing the launching of AM Fund for the years 2026 - 2029.
AM Fund aims to position the university as a global engine of knowledge, innovation, and societal impact, bridging continents, disciplines, and cultures through world-class research.
The Fund envisions empowering outstanding researchers to address grand global challenges by fostering cross-border collaboration, academic excellence, and responsible innovation.
Through sustained investment, the Fund will:
- Strengthen transnational research ecosystems, connecting faculty, research centers, and partners across campuses and countries.
- Support early-career researchers and research leaders, ensuring continuity, creativity, and long-term impact.
- Advance frontier and interdisciplinary research that meets the highest international standards.
- Promote knowledge transfer, innovation, and entrepreneurship, translating research outcomes into real-world solutions.
Key Pillars of AM Fund
- Cooperative Research Funds
Support competitive, high-impact collaborative research projects conducted jointly across the university’s transnational campuses and with leading international partners. These funds aim to foster interdisciplinary cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovation addressing global and regional challenges.
- M.Sc. Scholarships
Provide merit-based scholarships for outstanding Master’s students to engage in advanced research within the university’s strategic priority areas. The scholarships aim to build strong research capacity, encourage early scientific excellence, and prepare graduates for academic, industrial, and societal leadership.
- Ph.D. Scholarships
Offer fully supported bilateral doctoral scholarships to GUC talented researchers.. These scholarships promote cutting-edge research, joint supervision, and international mobility, contributing to the development of future research leaders and strengthening the university’s global research footprint.
