• All documents will be examined by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education\Council for Private Universities, prior the final registration at the GUC.
• Letter of withdrawal from other University (in case student is registered in another University)

The German Secondary School Certificate - Abitur (Zeugnis der Allgemeine Hochschulreife)

Academic Credentials

• Having acquired the qualifying subjects in Grade 11 and 12 according to the relevant study group at GUC.
• The total number of subjects to be calculated is 7 ( including the qualifying subject ).

Required Documents

• Abitur-Certificate stamped by the school, the German Embassy and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs + stamp of الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات, Cairo. Certified copies “beglaubigte Kopie” will not be considered as original certificates.
• Abitur Zeugnis in any other language than English or Arabic should be translated into English or Arabic and stamped with the required stamps as mentioned above. (Both the original and the translation must be stamped).
• Edadeyya Certificate (National system) or proof of 12 years of schooling (International system) stamped by school and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.
• If the proof of 12 years of schooling is obtained from outside Egypt required stamps are: the school stamp, the stamp of the Educational Zone and the Egyptian Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in that foreign country.
• Arab Nationals obtaining their High School certificate from Egypt have to submit original documents of Arabic Language, Religion and Civics exams - Thanaweya Amma (University graduation requirement)
• Arab Nationals obtaining foreign High School certificate from outside Egypt must submit accepted, certified original certificate of Arabic Language and religion before graduation or take the Arabic / religion supplementary exam(s) before graduation. Arabic & religion exam certificate from outside Egypt are examined by Supreme council of higher education for final approval
• Original Birth Certificate.
• 6 passport size Photos.
• Military Service Form (Namouzag 2 Gond), for Egyptian male students only.

The British Secondary School Certificates (IGCSE, GCSE)

Academic Credentials

Please note that obtaining minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance

• • Having passed at least 8 (OL)
    • For Engineering Group, 8 (OL) + Math (AL/ASL)
  • Minimum (OL) Grade is "C"
  • Minimum(AL or ASL) Grade is "D"
  • (AL) or (ASL) Math is required to join the Engineering Group.
  • Maximum number of (AL or ASL) subjects to be calculated is: 2(ALs) or 4(ASLs) or 1(AL+2ASL) subjects.
  • Accepted scores must be taken during not more than 4 successive years.
  • IGCSE (OL) subjects obtained from Arab Countries should be of the (extended), not of the (core) system.

• IGCSE-Slips stamped by the British Council as True Documents only (no other stamp can replace the British Council stamp) and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs + stamp of الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات التابعة لوزارة التربية و التعليم
• IGSCE-Slips stamped by the British Council as copies of true documents will not be treated as originals and cannot be accepted.
• If IGCSE Slips are obtained from outside Egypt, required stamp of British Council in Egypt, Egyptiam Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
• Edadeyya Certificate (National system) or Proof of 12 years of schooling (International system) stamped by School and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.
• If proof of 12 years of schooling is obtained from outside Egypt required stamps are: the School stamp, the stamp of the Educational Zone, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Embassy in that foreign country.
• Original Birth certificate
• 6 personal photos
• Original document of Arabic Language, Religion and civics exams Thanaweya Amma (for Arab Nationals)
• Namouzag 2 Gond (required from Egyptian male students only)

All documents will be examined by Supreme council of higher education for final approval

The American High School Diploma

Academic Credentials

• Having successfully completed (8) different subjects.
• Subjects less than one credit are not accepted.
• Subjects calculated should include the qualifying subjects relevant to the study group of choice at GUC. (Please refer to the qualifying subjects table for more details)
• Subjects can be calculated from Grade 12, 11 or 10. Minimum number of subjects to be calculated from G12 is 4, maximum number of subjects from G11 is 4, and to be completed accordingly from G10 if needed and maximum number of subjects to be calculated from G10 is 2.
• Subjects as PE, music, yearbook, religion… are not counted.
• EST I minimum score is  800/1600 ONLY as a passing grade 
• EST II is highly recommended & gives extra bonus for student’s overall evaluation & tuition category (minimum accepted score 
• EST II will be mandatory only in case student wishes to join the Engineering Group and didn’t take Advanced Math in school Transcript in grades 10, 11 or 12
• For certificates from outside Egypt: SAT scores can be accepted; SAT I minimum Score is 800/1600 ONLY as a passing grade  / SAT II is highly recommended & gives extra bonus for student’s overall evaluation & tuition category (minimum accepted score is 900/1600).
• SAT II will be mandatory only in case student wishes to join the Engineering Group and didn’t take Advanced Math in school Transcript in grades 10, 11 or 12

• Certificates obtained from Egypt must be presented with جواب إفادة from school
• Original EST Score(s) stamped and endorsed
• For certificates from outside Egypt, SAT scores are required to be stamped by Amideast in Egypt and Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Student must provide the Admission Department with user name and password for their account for the College Board of SAT exam(s)
  • For certificates obtained from schools outside Egypt - stamp of school and Ministry of Education, stamp of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of country of the certificate and stamp of Egyptian Embassy in country of certificate are required.
  • For certificates obtained from schools outside Egypt – Accreditation Letter from AMID-EAST (stamped by AMID-EAST and Ministry of Foreign Affairs) 
• Edadeyya Certificate (National system) or Proof of 12 years (International system) of schooling stamped by School and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.

Thanaweyya Amma from Arab countries

Academic Credentials

• A scientific-oriented Thanaweyya Amma is required for studying in the Biological Sciences and in the Engineering Group.
• A non-scientific-oriented Thanaweyya Amma graduate is eligible to study in the Management or Applied Sciences and Arts Group.
• All Islamic subjects are not calculated during the evaluation of the final percentage.
• Students obtaining their Thanaweyya Amma from Yemen must submit proof of 12 years of schooling.

Qualifying Subjects

• A scientific-oriented Thanaweyya Amma is required for studying in the Biological Sciences in the Engineering Group.
• A non-scientific-oriented Thanaweyya Amma graduate is eligible to study in the Management or Applied Sciences and Arts Group or Program of Law and Legal Studies.

Required Documents

• Original Thanaweyya Amma Certificate stamped by the Egyptian Embassy of the certificate’s country of origin. (No certified copies will be accepted).
• Students applying with a Saudi Arabian Thanaweyya Amma must submit the original stamped certificates of Grade 11 and Grade 12.
• Saudi Arabian Thanaweyya Amma must be presented with شهادة قدرات
• Original Birth Certificate
• 6 passport size recent photos (not older than one year).

• Students obtaining their Thanaweyya Amma from Yemen must submit proof of 12 years of schooling stamped by the school and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.

International Baccalaureate

Academic Credentials

• Passing 6 subjects with a minimum of 3 taken in the High Level (including the qualifying subjects).
• A total score of minimum of 24/45 is required.
• Passing the English Language is a must for acceptance.
• Theory of knowledge, Extended Essay & Creativity are required.
• Students must obtain the final graduation IB Diploma to be considered for admission.

• Having successfully completed 8 different subjects (+ Adv. Math for Engineering group)
• Accepted students should have spent the last 3 years of study in the Canadian System (Grades 10, 11 and 12). Students who studied all their courses in one or two year/s only (grade 11 and /or 12) in the Canadian system will not be considered for admission.
• Subjects less than one credit are not accepted.
• Subjects calculated should include the qualifying subjects relevant to the study group of choice at GUC. (Please refer to the qualifying subjects schedule for more details
• Subjects are calculated from Grade 12 & 11 only. Minimum number of subjects to be calculated from G12 is 5 (+ Adv. Math); maximum number of subjects from G11 is 3.

• Obtaining at least the minimum percentages set by GUC admission office for the same year of admission.
• Students are allowed to apply only for Management or Applied Sciences and Arts group.

Qualifying Subjects

Fulfilling all certificates’ requirements and obtaining the final certificate.

Required Documents

• Final FOS Transcript stamped by the school and certified by the German Embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
• Original Birth Certificate
• 6 passport size recent photos (not older than one year).
• Military Service Form (Namouzag 2 Gond), for Egyptian male students only.
• Arab Nationals will be awarded the graduation degree after passing and submitting the original document of Arabic Language and Religion exams Thanaweyya Amma level.
• All documents will be examined by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education\Council for Private Universities, prior the final registration at the GUC.
• All documents issued from schools inside Egypt Must be stamped from Educational Zone – Ministry of Education
• Letter of withdrawal from other University (in case student is registered in another University)

French Baccalaureate

Academic Credentials

• The number of subjects to be calculated is 7 courses.
• A total score of minimum 10/20 is required as a passing grade.
• 5 points will be added to each course in the evaluation as a bonus and final percentage will be calculated according to the student’s score in each course and the corresponding coefficient.

• Arab Nationals obtaining their High School certificate from Egypt have to submit original documents of Arabic Language, Religion and Civics exams - Thanaweyya Amma
