The German University in Cairo invites applications for the following vacancies to be filled effective effective September 2023 or February 2024.

Position Description:

The German University in Cairo is looking for highly motivated applicants wishing to join the Engineering and Design production department. Successful candidate will be is responsible for fundamental education in Mechanical design and production techniques including product design and development, design methodology, and advanced design and analysis tools. Solid background in manufacturing techniques, modelling and simulation in is required. Capability of teaching advanced graduate courses in mechanical design and manufacturing should be expected. Supervising and leading research activities in the field are very important. Practical and industrial experience will be appreciated and evaluated. Candidates should hold a doctorate/PhD in a Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a PhD in mechanical engineering with specialization in mechanical design or related fields.
