Description
It is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of operating systems. These include some basic concepts such as the nature of operating systems, their history, and their function within an overall computer system. In addition, many of the more involved issues in operating system design are discussed. This includes process scheduling, synchronization, deadlocks, memory management, file management, and input/output operations.
