Units and measurements, kinematics of a particle in one and two dimensions, translational and rational dynamics, work and energy, momentum and collisions, static and dynamic fluids, vibration and waves, sound, electric charge and electric field, electric potential, electric currents, electric current circuits, magnetism and magnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, geometric optics, interference, diffraction, and polarization of light. X-rays, radioactivity, radiation effects and detectors. For all mentioned topics biological applications are considered.
