GUC Chairman Honored at Cairo University’s Faculty of Science Centennial Celebration

Prof. Ashraf Mansour, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University in Cairo (GUC) and German International University (GIU), was honored by Cairo University during the celebration marking the centennial of its Faculty of Science, commemorating 100 years since its establishment in 1925.

 

The celebration, held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, brought together a distinguished gathering of university leaders, prominent scientists, public figures, alumni, and graduates to celebrate the Faculty of Science’s century-long legacy of academic excellence, scientific research, and its enduring contributions to Egypt and the region.

 

Prof. Ashraf Mansour was recognized in appreciation of his distinguished scientific career and his pioneering role in advancing higher education and scientific research. As the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University in Cairo, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening academic excellence and fostering international cooperation between Egypt and Germany, contributing significantly to the development of higher education and innovation.

 

The recognition reflects Prof. Mansour’s longstanding contributions to science and education, as well as his continuous efforts to support research, innovation, and the preparation of future generations of graduates equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
