Computer System Architecture (CSEN 601)

Description
It is an introduction to the concepts of computer architecture such as performance measurements, instruction set basics, pipelines, instruction level parallelism, memory hierarchy, and multithreaded/multiprocessors systems.
By the end of this class, the students should be able to :
- Describe how current processors work,
- Evaluate the architectural alternatives, and
- Conduct some elementary research in the field.
