- Vectors (Geometry and Algebra): vector operations, dot product, lines and planes
- Systems of linear equations: elementary row operations, row echelon form and Gaussian elimination, application: allocation of resources (elementary linear programming)
- Matrices: matrix operations and algebra, inverse of a matrix; sub-spaces of Rn, basis, dimension, and rank
- Determinants: properties, Cramer's rule, geometric applications: areas and volumes
- Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors: similarity and diagonalization, applications: Markov chains, linear recurrence relations, systems of linear differential equations, and discrete linear dynamical systems
