Description

This course introduces the core subjects of Business Informatics and lays the ground for all following specific courses which interrelate the business and the computing perspective. It offers an overview of information systems (IS). It focuses on key business applications – e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Management Information Systems (MIS), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and systems for cross-organizational cooperation – as well as on the required information technology (IT) infrastructure.
