Description
While the course is taught using predominantly a classroom lecture/discussion format, group learning activities are strongly encouraged. Students are expected to take an active part in the learning process through participation in classroom/group discussion and presentations of their topics of interest. Students will be expected to read and explore their interests in the area of accounting and management control as well as present there understanding to their topics of interest as well as to the topics assigned to them by the lecturer.
The topics assigned by the lecturer and are to be presented by the 2nd major CTRL students include mainly:
- Strategy balanced scorecard, and strategic profitability analysis.
- Management control systems, transfer pricing, and multinational considerations.
- Performance measurement, compensation, and multinational considerations.
