The German University in Cairo is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2
years of experience in power distribution and classic control systems. The ideal candidate
will possess a strong knowledge of electrical equipment, including power, lighting, and
panels, as well as proficiency in PLC systems.

Responsibilities:
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for plant, machinery and equipment to
ensure that these continue to operate at optimum levels.
• Design and develop electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, and control
panels.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement electrical solutions effectively.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and project documentation.
• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance for electrical equipment and systems.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in electrical
engineering.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in power distribution and classic control systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and their applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
