The goals of this course are to develop an understanding of how Sanitary Engineering can be used to provide and secure potable drinking water for people, based on a sound scientific understanding of water sources and water demands and design requirements, also to safely dispose the wastewater after proper treatment without affecting the quality of the environment.Water treatment works: Characteristics of water, plain sedimentation, chemical precipitation, slow sand filter, rapid sand filter, disinfection.
