This Course is offered to 7th semester General Major
The goals of this course are to develop an understanding of how Sanitary Engineering can be used to provide and secure potable drinking water for people, based on a sound scientific understanding of water sources and water demands and design requirements, also to safely dispose the wastewater after proper treatment without affecting the quality of the environment.Water treatment works: Characteristics of water, plain sedimentation, chemical precipitation, slow sand filter, rapid sand filter, disinfection. Wastewater treatment works: Characteristics of wastewater, primary treatment, secondary treatment
