This Course is offered to all 6th semester Majors
The aim of the course is to supplement the learning goals of the first course of the steel design (CIS 504). It contributes to the knowledge and skills required by the designer engineers in the following topics of steel design: beam-column design, latticed columns, analysis and design of end plate moment connections, and design of column base plates.
