Description
Systematic study and classification of animals and plants, principles of taxonomy, algae, mosses, and ferns. Physiology of animal kingdom (study of organs and their functions).
The practical course includes light microscopy, cells (coacervates, prokaryotes, animal and plant cells), nucleus and chromosomes (mitosis, meiosis, chromosomes), microscopic examination of plants and identification of their characteristic features, staining techniques for the study of histological and cytological properties of animal and plant cells.
