Presidential assignment to extend German University in Cairo (GUC) visual identity initiative throughout all Egypt’s governorates

In the inauguration of the Sphinx Avenue, the German University in Cairo (GUC) presents its visual identity project as a gift to Luxor.

In the context of the “Visual Identity Project” assigned by President Sisi, the German University in Cairo’s (GUC) Egypt Branding Center Team proposed to the Aswan Governorate a set of developmental projects that aim at urban development, serving the community as well as branding the city streets and main touristic attractions to reflect the greatness of its people’s cultural heritage. One of the main elements of the branding project are the 3D displays in the main streets of the historical city of Aswan. The flare and colorful spirit of the people of the Land of Gold is highlighted in the choice of red, gold and dark turquoise as the main colors of the designs with the main elements of Egypt’s Nile River, Green fields and crafts from the Aswani habitat.

The German University in Cairo (GUC) branding team presents Aswan’s visual identity project before President Sisi


President Sisi assigns three ministries to implement the logo developed by the GUC on governmental buildings as well as governmental transportation in Aswan with a 500 million pounds budget


GUC branding team is honored by President Sisi for their special contribution to the inauguration event of the Sphinx Avenue in Aswan
