The GUC is committed to supporting academic research and innovation. The university has hosted various international conferences such as the Africa Academy of Management (AFAM) Conference in 2022 and the 2nd International Conference on Smart Cities 4.0 “Smartness Meets Sustainability” in 2023. Additionally, the faculty of management technology at the GUC proudly supports research platforms such as the “Management & Sustainability: An Arab Review” (MSAR) research journal, which will take part in the sustainability discussions in the conference workshops in Cairo.

The GUC is an Egyptian private university that was founded in 2002, in cooperation with the State Universities of Ulm and Stuttgart, and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), with a vision of building a leading center of excellence in teaching and research that will effectively contribute to the general welfare nationally and internationally. The GUC has a state-of-the-art campus that is equipped with modern facilities and technology to ensure a comfortable and productive conference experience.
