During this special year 2022 marking GUC’s 20th anniversary, it’s time to reflect on the incredible milestones achieved in our journey, rejoice our exceptional present success, and plan the prosperous future ahead of us. GUC will celebrate with you and its worldwide network in a series of grand events as well as scientific, social, sports or cultural activities throughout the years 2022-2023. In commemoration of our anniversary, we will also hold in both Egypt and Germany honoring events for core partners and people with whom we have achieved major accomplishments. Additionally, special highlight will be put on future plans and potentials.

A BIG “thank you” goes to our founding universities of Ulm and Stuttgart, the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts, State of Baden- Württemberg, Germany. In addition, our gratitude goes to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Embassy in Cairo, the Arab/German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany, University of Tübingen, University of Mannheim and the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig for their exceptional efforts. Last but not least, we must acknowledge our students, faculty and staff, both past and present, for their hard work and extraordinary presence. It is because of you all that GUC is NOW the leading transnational German university accounting for more than 40% of all students learning in a German institution outside German borders.

During the past two decades, GUC has touched countless lives through enabling learners and researchers to help their communities and realize their own success. We are confident that together we will continue to pave the way for new generations to continue to play this significant role in the advancement of both nations Egypt and Germany in the years to come.
