The Second workshop Euro2017 aims to introduce comparison between the philosophy of the Eurocodes and the Egyptian code in structural analysis and design, as well as provides knowledge and practical skills about the main features, standards and procedures for designing different structural members of buildings according to both Eurocodes/Egyptian codes.
Workshop Topics Addressed:
Design of Concrete Structures, Steel Design and Seismic Design; Safety Concepts and Material Properties, Ultimate Limit State Design for Bending, Normal forces, Shear and Torsion, Stability of RC Structures / Serviceability Limit State, and The Egyptian Code – Status and Advances.
Who Should Attend
Academics, consultants, civil engineers and graduate students and researchers, contractors and industry professionals and undergraduate civil students.
