Earlier this month, GEM-CAP launched with a highly successful three-day workshop at TUM, welcoming 10 students and researchers from Egypt. Participants engaged in hands-on training in 16S #microbiome analysis, covering both foundational and advanced bioinformatics techniques. The workshop also included a visit to TUM’s Core Facility Microbiome labs, where participants observed cutting-edge sequencing workflows, gaining valuable insights into state-of-the-art microbiome research methodologies. This training has laid a strong foundation for ongoing collaboration, equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to contribute to the growing field of microbiome science.
