The German University in Cairo invites applications for vacancies to commence in the Winter semester 2019/2020 (September):
The German University in Cairo is looking for highly motivated applicants wishing to join the Information and Engineering Technology Faculty. Successful candidate will be responsible for the fundamental education in signal processing over networks, signal processing in communication systems, and adaptive signal processing, digital signal processing. Specialized courses are expected in detection, estimation, random signal theory, image processing, and audio signal processing. In addition to being responsible for the cooperative participation in the communication laboratory courses of the Bachelor, and Master Programs in IET. In research, many possibilities exist, such as machine learning for signal processing and statistical pattern recognition.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in electrical engineering in one of the following research areas: wireless communications, digital signal processing, and adaptive signal processing.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their curriculum vitae including employment history, a statement outlining research and teaching interests, list of publications and projects undertaken and names of at least three referees.
