The German University in Cairo invites applications for vacancies to commence in the Winter semester 2019/2020 (September):
The German University in Cairo is looking for highly motivated applicants wishing to join the Information and Engineering Technology Faculty. Successful candidate will be responsible for the fundamental education in modeling and simulation of telecommunication networks along with network services in telecommunication networks as well as within machine to machine IoT systems. Specialized courses are expected in network management, SDN as well as cloud computing. In addition to being responsible for the cooperative participation in the network and advanced, network laboratory courses of the Bachelor, and Master Programs in IET. In research, many possibilities exist, such as design/management of distributed telecommunication networks/data centers, big data analytics, design/management of SDN networks and IoT services in smart cities.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in electrical or computer engineering in one of the following research areas: wireless networks, computer networks, computer information systems, network security and ad-hoc networks.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their curriculum vitae including employment history, a statement outlining research and teaching interests, list of publications and projects undertaken and names of at least three referees.
