Graduate Registration & Records Specialist

The Graduate registration and records specialist will be in charge of accommodating the service counter and organizing inquiries according to staff assignments.

Responsibilities:

The Graduate Registration and Records Specialist is expected to professionally perform the following tasks:

o Providing over the counter direct service to graduates mainly in the form of typical daily services ranging from taking inquiries and complaints.
o Delivering certificates/ transcripts/templates issued.
o Filing shipping requests of sealed graduates documents to institutions abroad upon graduates requests.
o Coordinating with the Graduate Archives Specialist the archiving of graduates requests/issued documents.
o Accommodate daily graduates’ traffic, takes inquiries and guides/directs them adequately in a professional and friendly manner.
o Deliver high-quality, accessible services that meet their needs.
o Give accurate and comprehensive information.
o Provide accurate, timely and useful information to graduates in relation to their post-graduation services.
o Provide efficient complaints and appeals procedures.

Requirements:

o Very good English language command – spoken and written.
o Fast typing skills (English and preferable Arabic).
o Proficiency in using all Microsoft office applications.
o Work under pressuring conditions.
o Commitment to finalizing and delivering tasks within assigned deadline.
o Customer service oriented: to value each person, listen and solve problems.
o Communication: to be connected and linked with the GUC community in efficient ways.
o Be Team player within the department.
o Maintain high quality delivery in all tasks
o Have a strong moral principles and responsibility
o Learn, brainstorm, troubleshoot problems and accommodate various inquiries
o Accomplish tasks in an organized and neat fashion and be punctual attending to work and work-related appointments
o Keep track of required tasks and delivers them within required time according to department needs
o Strong background in the educational/customer service field - preferable
