President Abdel Fattah El SISI Approved Implementation of Reducing Unemployment Model that has been Proposed by GUC Students & Graduates

The “Union for the Mediterranean” (UfM) model was held within the agenda of the World Youth Forum (WFY) 2019, hosted in Sharm Al-Sheikh city. UfM is an intergovernmental institution that aims to promote dialogue and collaboration in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The UfM model was attended by a number of GUC students and alumni as delegates of different countries.Among the participants were; Menatullah Mohamed (Pharmacy & Biotechnology graduate – class of 2019) as the delegation of Germany, Heidi El Magdoub (Management Technology graduate- class of 2018) as the delegation of Palestine, Youssef Amer (Law student) as the delegation of Slovakia, Ghada Lotfi (Networks Engineering graduate- class of 2017) as the delegation of Albania.

During the conference, the delegates discussed two pressing issues that are currently facing humanity and youth; climate change and unemployment.

The conference took place in the presence of the UfM secretariats and Secretary-General Ambassador, Nasser Kamel, to ensure the accuracy and implementation of the ministerial declarations in real life.

In World Youth Forum closing ceremony, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced that one of the projects proposed by the UfM model will be implemented in Alamein city in 2021.
